The law firm of Brenda J. Beaton, Attorney at Law, P.C. is made up of one attorney and two legal assistants devoted to helping each client resolve their legal issues.
Ms. Beaton began her law career working for various state and local prosecutor offices including the Weber County Attorney’s Office, the Utah Attorney General’s Office, the West Valley City Prosecutor’s Office, and the North Ogden City Prosecutor’s Office. She has handled numerous felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases. This experience has given her years of courtroom experience in presenting cases to judges and juries throughout the state.
Ms. Beaton left the Weber County Attorney's Office in 2008 to form the firm Hutchison, Neider & Beaton, P.L.L.C.. In 2009, she formed her own firm specializing in criminal defense and family law cases.
Ms. Beaton has taught courses at Weber State University and various police academies in Weber and Salt Lake Counties. She has been cross-designated on two occasions as a Special Assistant United States Attorney to handle federal drug and firearm cases. She has been cross designated as a Deputy Salt Lake County District Attorney.
